Submit your ‘proof of life’ digitally?

We are glad you want to submit your ‘proof of life’ digitally! This allows you to quickly and easily ensure that your benefit continues.

How does it work?

In the notice (for example, the annual statement) you received from us, the excasso contract number is stated. You need to enter this number along with your date of birth and email address at the bottom of this page. You will then be directed to an online environment. After that, scan the QR code on the computer screen with your mobile phone. Follow the steps to verify that you are alive. We do this by comparing the photo on your ID with a scan of your face. A detailed explanation can be found here.

Personal data

During the process, we process personal data. In addition to general personal data such as your name, address and date of birth, biometric data are also processed. These are data on unique body characteristics. In this case, your face scan will be compared to the photo on your passport or identity card.

At the bottom of the page, we ask for your explicit consent to process this personal data. We use this information to determine that you are alive and your benefit can be continued. Your consent only applies to this life certificate and not to future life certificates.

Would you like to know more about how we handle your personal data? Then read our privacy statement.

Photo of your passport or identity card

With your mobile phone you take a picture of your opened passport or identity card. We need this information to verify your identity.

Face scan

You also make a face scan. By moving your face, we can better check that it is really about your face. And not, for example, to a mask or a photo of your face.

How do we inform you?

Within 5 working days you will hear whether the verification has been successful and whether your benefit will be continued. Is the verification not (completely) successful? Then we ask you to send the necessary documents.
